Privacy Policy

The short version: the Graboard app collects nothing and stores everything locally — your clipboard stays on your Mac and is never uploaded automatically. The website uses only privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics and sets no tracking cookies. There's very little data here to have a policy about, but here it is in full.

1. The Graboard app

Everything Graboard captures — clipboard items, screenshots, and the text recognized inside them — is stored locally on your Mac, inside the app's sandboxed container, protected by macOS and FileVault. The app:

•does not upload, back up, or sync your history; nothing is sent to us or any third party on its own;
•has no account or login;
•contains no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or advertising;
•automatically skips content marked confidential by other apps (for example, password managers).

You stay in control of what, if anything, leaves your device. Graboard does not currently send any of your content off your Mac. If we add features that do — such as letting you share a clipboard item — they will be strictly opt-in, will send only the specific item you choose, and will be described here before they ship.

You can delete individual items or clear your entire history at any time, and uninstalling Graboard (dragging it to the Trash) removes the app. For more detail, see how privacy works.

2. The graboard.com website

The graboard.com website uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service to understand aggregate traffic — for example, how many people visit and which pages are popular. It sets no cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other websites or build any profile of you. We see counts and trends, not individuals. The site carries no advertising.

The site is served by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes standard request information — such as your IP address and browser user-agent — transiently, in order to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse and attacks. This processing is handled by Cloudflare under their own privacy terms; we do not use it to identify or track you.

3. Downloads

When downloads become available, requesting the app download is a normal web request handled as described above. Downloading does not require an account and does not register you anywhere.

4. Email you send us

If you email us (for example, at support@graboard.com), we receive your message and email address and use them only to respond to you. We don't add you to any mailing list.

5. Children

Graboard is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app or site handles data, we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. If we were ever to add anything that genuinely collects data, we'd say so plainly here first.
